The Voluntary Euthanasia Party participated in Druery’s preferencing at the federal election. But NSW Lead candidate, Shayne Higson says this won’t work in NSW. Euthanasia is an issue which resonates with middle aged and elderly voters across the political spectrum, she says. Supporters will be asked to "send a message" to the Baird Government on the need for euthanasia reform by voting for VEP and then choose their own second preference.
